Our Principal Consultant is a Registered and Chartered Building Practitioner, holding building licences in both New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria. He is also a proud Member of the Australian Institute of Building (MAIB), and a former Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), he exemplifies the highest professional standards in the building and construction industries across Australia.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:  

With more than three decades of hands-on experience, our Principal Consultant has developed a comprehensive understanding of the building and construction sectors from every angle. His career commenced on the tools as a Carpenter in 1995, providing him with a solid practical foundation and a deep appreciation for the intricacies of construction work.

Quantity Surveying: Worked for two of the world’s leading Quantity Surveying firms, acquiring invaluable insights into project costing, financial management, and the economics of construction projects.

Insurance Repairs & Defect Rectification: Served as both Estimator and Supervisor for a building company specialising in insurance repairs and defect rectification works, further developing skills in assessing and resolving complex building issues.

High-End Residential Projects: Held roles as a Senior Estimator and Contract Administrator for a building company specialising in high-end architectural residential projects, managing detailed costings and contract negotiations.

Loss Adjusting: Worked with one of the world’s largest Loss Adjusting firms as a Building & Cost Consultant, providing expert assessments on building losses and remediation strategies.

Insurance Assessments: Held the position of Technical Home Assessor for Australia’s largest Insurer, delivering expert advice and assessments for a diverse range of residential and commercial properties.
